How Titanic could have ended…

I guess there’s been a lot on my mind lately. All I want is for my brain to turn off for awhile. I’ve been contemplating some passages from the Bible and how the should be applied in my life. Take a look!

Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make decipiles of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. 

Mark 16:15 And He said to them, “Go into the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. 

1 Chronicles 16:24 Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples! 

I’ve just been thinking that we are called to go out through all the nations preaching God’s word. All my life I just expected someone else to do the dirty work. I just figured all my life that being kind to someone shows Christ’s love, and that I don’t have to go to the ends of the earth. Which is completely okay for some people, it just depends where God wants you.. But where does God want me? We do make an impact on people’s lives through the small gestures we make. However, I’m realizing I have to actually get up and be willing to lose my materialistic life. 

I want to live a life that isn’t about me. A life where I’m in another country taking care of the people around me, spreading the news of God’s love. A life where my splurges are spent on others not me. A life that has adventure but a holy purpose.  But this is a crazy, right!? It could just be a crazy silly phase I’m going through, or it could be something great. Trying to understand life and God’s calling to be a missionary is not easy to figure out! Prayers would be appreciated<3 

On the other note I’m going to Alaska on a missions trip this summer! WOOOO! Maybe that’s when I’ll see things clearly.
